About Me

At such a young age design has always inspired me. I remember  paying attention to the design details in everyday items,  that I’m sure other kids wouldn’t even notice.  I would always notice the way a menu looked before I even picked out what I wanted to eat, or I would be more mesmerized by the packaging of something more than the actual product itself. As I became older that curiosity grew I started to draw anything that caught my eye: . From my Scooby-Doo backpack to my power ranger play set, or even better my favorite Pokemon. Looking back, I could not have imagined that curiosity and my playful drawings would turn into a career and even my passion. The way I get to explore and connect with people with every pixel is what really makes me happy. 

A lot of my inspiration for my design comes from my life and who I am, so let me start there. I’m from Indianapolis, Indiana and I graduated from Indiana University in 2016 with a bachelor of science in Informatics with a graphic design concentration. I have a dog named Nasa and I’m a huge foodie. Not only that, but I really enjoy watching Netflix, anime, hanging out with my friends + family, and I love to travel. I’m a pop culture fanatic, and I  obsess over Toy Story, Buzz Lightyear, and anything Disney in general. I say this to say I take all my interest and life experiences and try to find inspiration and ideas for my design philosophy. 

I focus on branding+identity and logo design because that’s my sweet spot. I hope you’ve gotten to know me a little better and if you ever want to catch me you can find me at Cholita eating tacos or enjoying brunch. Enjoy the portfolio. :)
